Thanksgiving is upon us, and it can feel all too soon that our reflections of gratitude make way for the hustle and bustle of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday is a lesser-known installment in the Thanksgiving season, and luckily it offers us another chance not only to reflect on the things we are most grateful for, but to pay it forward for the year to come.
Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, that's Tuesday, November 28, 2017, and we hope you will consider making a gift to ACCT. Your donation helps ensure that low- and moderate-income people of Addison County have a safe, decent, affordable place to call home this holiday season. That's why we've decided to call it Giving Roofs Day, and we will be immensely thankful if you join our campaign! Here's how to "give a roof" this year: visit http://bit.ly/GivingRoofsDay between 12:01am and 11:59pm on Tuesday, November 28 and make your gift online. This year, we are thrilled and thankful to announced that several generous sponsors will be matching all donations received by ACCT on Giving Tuesday dollar for dollar, up to $2,800!
Last year, ACCT met our $5,000 Giving Roofs Day goal, and this year we're aiming for $10,000. Your gift makes a difference to over a thousand county residents who call ACCT properties home. Please help us reach our goal by making a gift on Giving Tuesday and sharing the word with your friends on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (@AddisonTrust)!
