STEP 6 - If You Are Offered an Apartment
- If you are offered an apartment, you will have 14 days from the date of AHW contacting you to submit a completed full application & applicant questionnaire to our office.
- Full application processing will include sex offender background checks, criminal background checks, credit checks, housing references, & character references. It is recommended that applicants contact all housing & character references to inform them they will be contacted by AHW staff.
- Contact your references to inform them that a AHW staff member will be contacting them for information.
- To help decrease processing time, you may provide multiple phone numbers and email address for references.
- If you have a criminal record, please provide contact information for probation/parole officers (if applicable).
