At the end of May, Addison Housing Works welcomed residents, staff, board members, community partners, and supporters to its Annual Meeting – a chance to reflect and celebrate on the past year's accomplishments and to look ahead to projects in 2026. Board President David Hamilton led the meeting, introducing new board members and recognizing Ingrid Pixley and Karen Leuders for their years of dedicated service as they prepare to retire from the board this year. Executive Director Elise Shanbacker presented highlights from AHW's 2025 Annual Report, sharing the organization's accomplishments and impact over the past year. Attendees also heard remarks from Finance Director Kathy Dorman, Director of Property Management Tori Marukelli, and two local Vergennes residents, who expressed their appreciation for AHW and its commitment to residents. The evening concluded with an invitation to Opening Garden Day, where Ingrid Pixley will be honored with a dedication plaque on a garden box at Peter Coe Village. Lastly, thank you to Grapevine Grille, Drop-In Brewing, and the Vergennes Opera House for making this event possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for supporting AHW's mission to strengthen communities through affordable housing. Download Meeting Minutes Link to 2025 Annual Report PDF
