Every year, Addison Housing Works brings our community together to celebrate something we all believe in: that everyone deserves a safe, stable, affordable place to call home.
On Friday, September 18, hundreds of neighbors, businesses, and community leaders will gather at the American Legion Post #14 in Vergennes for AHW’s Neighborhood Block Party 2026, an evening of live music from The Grift, local food, property tours, and community connection in support of affordable housing in Addison County.

This year’s event comes at a critical time. Affordable housing is under increasing pressure, and many local workers and families rely on housing support to remain stably housed. At the same time, employers across our region continue to face workforce challenges tied to housing affordability.
This year’s Block Party will feature:

Tickets are $10 and include admission to the event and one entry to our door prize. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are available for purchase online until 9/17 or at the event. Walk-ins welcome!
